About Us
Local roots, family values, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
Hi I'm Joel Preece
At Take Care Property Maintenance, we are a family business through and through. From our base in Rakaia, we proudly support homeowners, and local businesses throughout Ashburton and Selwyn Districts.
This business began with a simple idea — that tradespeople should show up, communicate clearly, and follow through. Property maintenance can feel endless, and finding someone you trust shouldn't be the hardest part.
We take the pressure off by inspecting your property or business, outlining what needs attention, give upfront costings where possible. We provide routine cleaning and maintenance service, along with repairs and replacements whenever they're needed.
We believe in honesty, reliability, and doing things right the first time. When we say we'll be there, we're there — and we finish the job the way it should be done.
Our Core Values
The principles that guide every job we undertake in the Ashburton District.
Reliable Workmanship
We don't cut corners. We use the right tools and treatments to ensure every repair, wash, and build stands the test of time.
Clear Communication
No jargon, no hidden fees, and no leaving you in the dark. We keep you updated before, during, and after the project.
Family-Owned & Local
Based in Rakaia, we are a part of the community we serve. Our reputation matters, which is why we treat your property like our own.
